If you are interested in Cretan cuisine, Greek food, or you are just crazy about cooking, we invite you to join our traditional cooking lessons.
You cook, taste and enjoy local recipes and prepare delicious dishes with the guidance and assistance of our chef Mrs. Koula.

Mrs. Koula, born and raised in a Cretan village, carries all the knowledge of her family and shares it with us with love and purity. She is the author of the cooking book ‘Foods of Crete", published in Canada and U.S, where Koula used to live for many years.

All dishes are made of genuine, pure Cretan products such as olive oil, vegetables, cheese, meat, wine, etc. and of course all the ingredients are fresh and local. In addition, useful information about the herbs, olive oil and other ingredients used, is given together with explanations about their nutritional value and ways of usage.

After cooking you will eat all together on a long monastery-style table, enjoying your creativity with local wine and bread, Greek music and nice stories......

Kali Oreksi! (Enjoy your meal!)

The inspiring location...
A unique place called ‘Fabrica' in the heart of the old neighbourhood of Vamos is hosting the cooking lessons. An old olive press dated since 1846 with Venetian arches and big millstones in the middle, will heighten your "journey" into the aromas and tastes of the Traditional Cretan Cuisine!
